UPCOMING ELECTION AND ABSENTEE VOTING INFORMATION
CITY OF MAYNARDVILLE AND CITY OF PLAINVIEW INFORMATION
- March 27, 2024 is the first day to receive an absentee by mail application.
- Early voting begins June 5, 2024 and continues until June 20, 2024; Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until Noon. There will not be early voting on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in observance of the Juneteenth Federal Holiday.
- Early voting location for the CITY OF PLAINVIEW is the Plainview Community Center.
- Early voting location for the CITY OF MAYNARDVILLE is Horace Maynard Middle School.
- Election Day is June 25, 2024. Polls will open at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.
- Sample ballots will be posted on this site and published in the Union County News Leader.
UNION COUNTY GENERAL ELECTION
- May 3, 2024 is the first day to receive an absentee by mail application.
- Early voting begins July 12, 2024 and continues until July 27, 2024; Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until Noon at the Paulette Community Center.
- Election Day is August 1, 2024. Polls will open at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.
- Sample ballots will be posted on this site and published in the Union County News Leader.
PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
- August 7, 2024 is the first day to receive an absentee by mail application.
- Early voting begins Wednesday, October 16, 2024 and continues until Thursday, October 31, 2024; Monday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until Noon at the Paulette Community Center.
- Election Day is November 5, 2024
